Adrian Houser (1-4) allowed five runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six over four 2/3 innings in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Tigers. He picked up his fourth loss of the year.
Houser has unable to reach five innings in two of his last three starts. He left the bases loaded in the fifth frame and was charged with three runs after exiting. The 27-year-old owns a 5.48 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 32 strikeouts across 42 2/3 innings in 2020. His next scheduled start is Monday against the Cardinals.
