JaCoby Jones was transferred to the 45-day IL to clear a roster spot ahead of the Tigers doubleheader on Thursday against the Cardinals. (Jason Beck on Twitter)

Jones was hit by a pitch last week and fractured his hand. He is done for the season and can be safely dropped in all league formats.
