Astros pitcher Justin Verlander threw 50-55 pitches in a bullpen session Wednesday as he continues to work his way back from a forearm injury that has sidelined him for the entire season. (Jake Kaplan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
When Verlander first landed on the injured list with a forearm injury, it was reported that his season was over and that Tommy John surgery was a possibility. Verlander immediately disputed that report and vowed to return soon, and it sounds like he is getting close to doing just that.
