Miami Marlins pitcher Mat Latos pitched well on Saturday, throwing 5.1 innings and allowing only 1 run on 6 hits. He struck out 3 and walked 2.
Fantasy Impact:
Latos came back strong after a very rough start last time out. His Grapefruit League ERA dropped to a still awful 7.04, but he should be ready for the regular season. If he can get the velocity back that he lost last year, he can be an asset to a fantasy team. Keep an eye on the radar gun in his next start.
