Jesus Luzardo goes seven strong versus Houston, gets a no-decision

Jesus Luzardo nabbed a quality start but took a no-decision on Wednesday when he yielded two runs on four hits with seven strikeouts and one walk across seven innings in the A's 3-2 over the Astros.

Fantasy Impact:

George Springer led the game off with a solo blast to put the 'Stros on the board but Luzardo wouldn't give up another run until the sixth inning when Yuli Gurriel bopped another long ball. He kept Houston in check and left the game with the A's down 2-0, hence the no-decision. The strong effort gives the 22-year old southpaw a 3.97 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and a 45:14 K/BB ratio across 45 1/3 innings (seven starts). He'll draw the pesky Mariners in next start.
