Detroit first baseman Jeimer Candelario had a huge day at the plate in a Thursday doubleheader vs. the Cardinals. Candelario combined to go 5-for-6 with two homers, a double, two runs, five RBI, and a walk.
Fantasy Impact:
Candelario doubled and homered in his team's 12-2 loss in Game 1 and then went yard again in a 6-3 win in Game 2. The 26-year-old is hitting .333 with seven homers, 25 runs, 28 RBI, and a steal in what has been a breakout season.
