Pedro Severino started at catcher and hit fifth in the first game of Friday's doubleheader against the Yankees, going 0-for-3 and striking out twice. The Orioles lost, 6-0. He did not play in the nightcap.
Fantasy Impact:
Severino has exceeded all expectations this season, slashing .314/.391/.500 in 118 at-bats. He will likely bat fifth in the order for the remainder of the season, so he is also in a great spot to get RBI opportunities. He should be rostered in most leagues.
