Craig Kimbrel records second save

by Carmen Maiorano | Orioles Correspondent | Sun, Sep 13th 7:53am EDT

Craig Kimbrel pitched the ninth inning of Saturday's game against the Brewers with a two-run lead. Of course, it was a bit of a shaky outing. He allowed two consecutive singles before getting Daniel Vogelbach to strike out swinging, followed by a fielder's choice and a game-ending lineout.

Fantasy Impact:

Kimbrel got the save chance because Jeremy Jeffress and Rowan Wick had pitched on back-to-back days, so don't go scoop Kimbrel off the waiver wire just yet. Kimbrel now has a 6.23 ERA, 1.69 WHIP, and 24 strikeouts in 13 innings.
