Willie Calhoun (hamstring) will be activated Tuesday (updated)

Willie Calhoun, who's been on the IL since August 20th with a hamstring strain, will be activated on Tuesday. Scott Heineman was optioned to the Rangers alternate site to make room. (John Blake on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Rangers manager Chris Woodward said on Sunday that the the team wants to get Calhoun as many at bats as possible down the stretch. He struggled before straining his hamstring in late August by hitting just .172 with zero homers over 58 at-bats. He's an intriguing player due to the potential pop in his bat but he's not worthy of a roster spot just yet unless you're in deeper AL-only leagues.
