Jake Cronenworth went 2-for-4 with two doubles as the Padres beat the Dodgers on Monday to move within 1.5 games of the NL West lead.

Cronenworth just keeps hitting. The 26-year-old rookie is now batting .328 with four homers, three steals, and a .950 OPS this season. He once looked like the runaway favorite for National League Rookie of the Year honors, but he suddenly has competition with how well Sixto Sanchez and Ian Anderson have performed lately.
