Nationals pitcher Anibal Sanchez allowed six earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four over 4 1/3 innings in Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. The loss drops him to 2-5 on the season.

Sanchez is having an awful season after pitching to a 3.85 ERA in 2019 and 2.83 in 2020. In nine starts this season, Sanchez has a 7.38 ERA and 1.76 WHIP to go with 34 strikeouts over 42 2/3 innings.
