Fantasy Impact:
Some of Verlander's final pitches were throwing in the bullpen, so not all 75 went to live batters. Still, it's another step in the right direction for Verlander, who could return as early as next week at this point. The former Cy Young award winner is trying to make 1-2 starts before the playoffs.
