Max Fried (back) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday. He is expected to start Friday against the Mets. (David O’Brien on Twitter)

Fried will open Friday’s series against the Mets after being reinstated from the 10-day injured list Thursday. He will most likely be on a pitch count. Bryse Wilson was optioned to the Braves alternate site in a corresponding move.
