Wilmer Flores comes up clutch for SF on Thursday

by Jon Mathisen | Giants Correspondent | Fri, Sep 18th 12:48pm EDT

Wilmer Flores had a day at the dish, going 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, two runs scored, and a walk as the Giants took down the Mariners 6-4 on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Flores delivered a go-ahead two-run triple, his first of the season, with two outs in the top of the seventh off Kendall Graveman to put San Francisco up 5-4. He would score in that same frame off of an Alex Dickerson single. Flores has put together an excellent season for the scrappy Giants and is a big reason why they're currently holding on to the seventh seed in the playoff race. His multi-position eligibility have also made him a worthwhile fantasy contributor in mixed leagues. He is now slashing .288/.343/.534 with nine home runs and 25 RBI across 163 at-bats.
