Bryce Harper knocks in three in win over Marlins

by Kerry Kauffman | Phillies Correspondent | Mon, Mar 30th 11:08am EDT

Bryce Harper had been relatively quiet this spring with just 4 RBI and 10 strikeouts in 33 at bats. He had walked 10 times but was hitting only .242. Sunday against the Marlins, Harper doubled, homered and knocked in three runs. He raised his spring average to .278.

Fantasy Impact:

Harper appears to be ready for a breakout season. He has been solid with 55 home runs, a .272 batting average and an .816 OPS in 357 games. Hampered by injuries last season which limited him to 100 games, Harper should blossom into one of the top fantasy outfielder in the Major Leagues, if he can stay healthy.
