Trevor Williams picks up the loss Game 1

Trevor Williams (1-8) allowed six runs (five earned) on seven hits and no walks while striking out three over four 1/3 innings in Friday's 6-5 Game 1 loss to the Cardinals. He picked up his eighth loss of the year.

Fantasy Impact:

Williams yielded a lead-off homer to Kolten Wong and surrendered a two-run shot Tyler O'Neill in the second frame. He has struggled most of 2020, posting a 6.70 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 45 strikeouts over 49 2/3 innings. His next scheduled start is Wednesday against the Cubs.
