Kyle Hendricks was a maestro on the hill on Friday against the Twins, pitching eight shutout innings. He scattered three hits and a walk while striking out ten. The Cubs won, 1-0, upping Hendricks's record to 6-4.
Hendricks now has a 2.93 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and 61 strikeouts in 73 and 2/3 innings. He is solidifying his case as a top-30 starter in 2021 drafts. He will look to put his final stamp on the 2020 season when he takes on the Pirates next week.
