Mets starter Steven Matz allowed six earned runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out five over 2 2/3 innings in Friday's loss to the Atlanta Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
This was Matz's first start since landing on the IL at the end of August with shoulder discomfort, and it is safe to say that it went poorly. Matz is having a season to forget and will now take a 9.79 ERA into his next start against the Rays at home.
