Evan White generates only offense for Seattle on Friday

by Jon Mathisen | Angels Correspondent | Sat, Sep 19th 11:44am EDT

Evan White simply was the offense for the M's on Friday when he went 2-for-3 with a solo home run as the Mariners lost to the Padres 6-1.

Fantasy Impact:

The Mariners mustered only three hits all night and White was responsible for two of them. He took Pierce Johnson deep in the eighth inning, his sixth HR of the year, to put the Mariners only run on the board. It was his first home run since August 22nd. Even with the multi-hit performance White is still batting well below .200 at .173 with a .589 OPS across 150 at-bats. It's been a rough rookie season the promising 24-year old.
