Evan Phillips relieved Jorge Lopez in the seventh inning on Saturday against the Rays, striking out four over two innings of work. He allowed just one hit and didn't walk anyone. The Orioles lost, 3-1.

Philips features a fastball that sits at 94.5 MPH, and a good breaking ball and changeup that has generated whiffs over 30% of the time so far this year. Assuming the Orioles don't trade for a closer next year, he could be a darkhorse candidate to be in the mix for saves.
