Ian Anderson suffers first loss Satudray

by Mike Maher | Braves Correspondent | Sun, Sep 20th 10:10am EDT

Braves starter Ian Anderson allowed three earned runs on four hits and four walks while striking out eight over 4 2/3 innings in Saturday's loss to the Mets in New York. The loss drops Anderson to 3-1 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Saturday was perhaps the first sign that Anderson might actually be human as he had largely dominated through his first four starts. The four walks are at least a little concerning because he has now walked 11 batters over his last three starts, which is not a trend fantasy owners will want to see continue. However, he still has an excellent 1.05 WHIP to go with his 2.36 ERA and 35 strikeouts over 26 2/3 innings, and he is set to take on the Marlins in his next start.
