Kevin Newman (knee) lands on the IL

Kevin Newman was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a peroneal nerve of his left knee. (Pittsburgh Pirates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Newman’s season is over and as he will be out the next 10 days. He struggled most of 2020, slashing .281/.276/.556 with one home run, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored over 44 games. Adam Frazier and Erik Gonzalez will handle second base duties while Newman is sidelined.
