Justin Dunn was handed a no-decision on Sunday when he surrendered three runs on two hits while striking out six and walking four across 5 2/3 innings in the Mariners 7-4 loss to the Padres.
Dunn actually had a no-hitter going through five innings but coughed up a three-run shot to Wil Myers with two outs in the sixth before being replaced. Walks continue to be an issue for the 24-year old, who only allowed twice as many free passes as hits. The right-hander now owns a 4.20 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and a 36:29 K/BB ratio across 40 2/3 innings (nine starts). He'll face the Oakland A's next in his final start of the season.
