Jared Walsh crushes a grand slam in win over Rangers

Jared Walsh continued his scorching September stretch by hammering a 3-1 fastball from Kyle Gibson to straight-away centerfield in the bottom of the fourth inning for his first career grand slam. Walsh finished 1-for-4 on the afternoon but sure made the most of his one hit on the day while picking up 4 RBI.
Fantasy Impact:
The grand slam extends Walsh’s hitting streak to 13 games and now gives him eight home runs for the month. Walsh (.312 AVG, 1.035 OPS) continues to reward fantasy owners who were astute enough to grab him two weeks ago and his grand slam today could not have come at a better time in what is the first day of the finals in many H2H leagues. The left-handed slugger has made a heck of an impression this month and surely has earned himself a shot at being the Halos regular first baseman in 2021.
