Cubs manager David Ross says Kris Bryant is dealing with some "stiffness" in his right lower oblique. (Jordan Bastian on Twitter)
Ross still believes that this injury isn't worthy of an IL stint. Bryant left Monday's game after initially suffering the injury. He has been ice cold this year, hitting just .195 with a .584 OPS. David Bote is filling in at third base on Tuesday.
