Max Stassi homers twice, powers Angels to victory

by Lucas Spence | White Sox Correspondent | Wed, Sep 23rd 1:02am EDT

Angels backstop Max Stassi had a monster game on Tuesday, going 4-for-4 with two home runs, two runs scored, and three RBI in a 4-2 win over the Padres. Stassi connected for a solo home run in the second inning off of starter Zach Davies and followed that up with a two-run shot off of Davies again in the sixth inning.

Fantasy Impact:

The 29-year-old former Astros catcher has flown under the radar but has quietly been raking over the past month, now slashing a healthy .293/.561/.932 to go along with seven home runs, and makes for an interesting pickup for those in need of help at the catcher position.
