Sonny Gray allowed one run on two hits and one walk while striking out eight over five innings in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Brewers. He did not factor into the decision.

Gray returned from the injured list Monday ahead of his scheduled start on Tuesday. He blanked the Brewers for four innings before yielding a solo homer to Tyrone Taylor. He threw a total of 80 pitches, landing 49 strikes. Gray owns a 3.73 ERA, 1.22 WHIP along with a 68:22 K:BB over 50 2/3 innings in 2020. His next scheduled start is Sunday against the Twins.
