Angels first baseman Jared Walsh failed to record a hit in five at-bats on Wednesday, snapping his career-long hitting streak at 14 games.

September has been a breakout month for the 27-year-old slugger who has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball for the past few weeks. Walsh has cooled a bit over the past week but did crush a grand slam on Monday. He’s slashing .291/.640/.959 in 29 games this season to go along with 8 HR, 17 R, and 23 RBI.
