Kwang Hyun Kim allowed one earned run on five hits and two walks with three strikeouts in five innings as the Cardinals beat the Brewers 4-2 on Thursday. Kim threw 99 pitches, 61 of them for strikes. The run came in the fourth inning when Kim allowed three singles before getting Orlando Arcia to line out to end the frame. The Cardinals improve to 28-26 with the win and lead the Reds by 0.5 games for Second Place in the NL Central.
