Andrew Miller records fourth save of the season Thursday

Andrew Miller came in with one out and runners on first and second in the ninth inning on Thursday. He allowed a single to Eric Sogard, the first batter he faced, that scored a run and then fanned the next two batters to end the game. The Cardinals improved to 28-26 with the victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Miller has recorded two saves in a row for the Cardinals. He has a 2.92 ERA and 10.22 K/9 in 12 1/3 innings pitched this season. He may have usurped Giovanny Gallegos, who just returned from the IL, as the Cardinals closer or they may be easing Gallegos back into high leverage situations. Owners speculating on saves can add Miller but temper expectations because there is competition for saves in the back end of the Cardinals 'pen.
