Tyler Mahle pulled early against the Twins

by Brad Camara | Rangers Correspondent | Sat, Sep 26th 6:01am EDT

Tyler Mahle allowed one run on three hits and two walks while striking out four over two 1/3 innings in Friday's 7-2 win over the Twins. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Mahle was able to escape a bases-loaded jam in the first inning before yielding a run in the third frame. He was quickly removed from the game and replaced by Michael Lorenzen. The Reds clinched their first playoff berth since 2013. Mahle was productive this season, finishing 2020 with a 3.59 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 60:21 K:BB across 47 2/3 innings. The 25-year-old will most likely come out of the bullpen in the playoffs and compete for a rotation spot in 2021.
