Brett Gardner was 1-2 with a walk against the Twins on Tueday. He has a .157 batting average this spring.
Fantasy Impact:
Getting on base twice as the leadoff hitter is a positive sign for Gardner, who only has a .283 OBP during Spring Training. The Yankees need Gardner to be the player that he had been in 2013 and 2014, where he had 50 or more extra base hits in each season. Gardner does have top-75 potential, but he needs to show consistency.
