Andrew Heaney lasts just four innings vs. Dodgers

by Lucas Spence | Rangers Correspondent | Sat, Sep 26th 11:20am EDT

Angels starter Andrew Heaney surrendered five earned runs on eight hits and two walks in just four innings of work in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Friday night. Heaney gave up three solo home runs on the night – two to Justin Turner and one to A.J. Pollock. Heaney added three strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact:

A matchup against Clayton Kershaw and the vaunted Dodgers offense is about as tough as it gets for an opposing pitcher, and Heaney was not up to the challenge tonight. Heaney finishes the 2020 season 4-3 with a pedestrian 4.46 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 70 K in 66.2 innings as the Angels have been eliminated from playoff contention.
