Daniel Ponce de Leon struck out six over six innings, allowing one earned run on one hit and two walks as the Cardinals topped the Brewers 9-1 in game two of their doubleheader on Friday. He allowed a solo home run to Orlando Arcia in the sixth inning. The Cardinal improved to 29-27 with the victory and are tied with the playoff bound Reds for Second Place in the NL Central.
