Tommy Edman smacks a two run home run in Game Two win on Friday
by Lucas Babits-Feinerman | Cardinals Correspondent | Sat, Sep 26th 1:03pm EDT
Tommy Edman went 2-4 with one single, one home run, two runs, two RBI and one strikeout as the Cardinals topped the Brewers 9-1. Edman ignited a six run fifth inning for the Cardinals by driving in Kolten Wong with his two run home run. The Cardinals improved to 29-27 with the victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Edman is slashing .260/.329/.383 with five home runs and two stolen bases in 196 at-bats this season. He is one of the fastest players in the majors but the Cardinals don't steal much so his stolen base potential has been severely limited. Owners in standard 12-team redraft leagues can leave Edman on the Waiver Wire to end the season.
