Josh Donaldson (calf) out of line-up on Saturday

by Lucas Babits-Feinerman | Twins Correspondent | Sat, Sep 26th 5:18pm EDT

Josh Donaldson (calf) is being held out of the Twins line-up as a precautionary measure on Saturday. He left Friday night's game early after experiencing cramping and is considered day-to-day. Ehire Adrianza is hitting ninth and starting at third base in Donaldson's absence.

Fantasy Impact:

Donaldson is slashing .222/.373/.469 with six home runs in 81 at-bats this season. The Twins are still competing with the White Sox and Indians for First Place in the AL Central but all three teams have locked up playoff births. The Twins could clinch tonight with a win and losses by the other two teams in which case Donaldson would likely be held out tomorrow. Owners in standard 12-team redraft leagues will want to have a back-up plan on the bench if they need production from Donaldson on the last day of the season.
