Byron Buxton (concussion) out of line-up on Saturday

by Lucas Babits-Feinerman | Twins Correspondent | Sat, Sep 26th 5:26pm EDT

Byron Buxton is being held out of the line-up with concussion symptoms. He was hit in the head with a pitch on Friday night and is doubtful to play on Sunday. Jake Cave is in Center Field, hitting fifth for the Twins on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Buxton will likely finish the season slashing .254/.267/.577 with 13 home runs and two stolen bases in 130 at-bats. Buxton's 30 ft/s Sprint Speed ranks fifth overall among qualified hitters but the Minnesota Twins have the fewest stolen base attempts per game (0.34) so he has little to show for it in the stolen base department. Still, Buxton's power breakout will likely carry forward into 2021 and if Minnesota changes their offensive philosophy in the offseason to include stealing bases Buxton could make a run at 30-30 next season.
