Jason Grilli and Jim Johnson expected to platoon in setup role

by Steve Painter | Tue, Mar 31st 5:57pm EDT

Both have had good springs which provides some relief to skipper Fredi Gonzalez. Grilli has a 3.00 ERA with a .83 WHIP, along with seven strikeouts and no walks while Johnson has a 1.69 ERA along with a 1.61 WHIP, along with one strikeout and two walks.

Fantasy Impact:

The Braves will struggle to get to .500 this year and that limits the fantasy value of either player. That and some sort platoon in the role further restricts any upside. However, both will score holds for those insistent on rostering one or both.
