Julio Teheran awful yet again, lasts only one inning

by Lucas Spence | Cubs Correspondent | Sun, Sep 27th 1:20am EDT

Angels starter and off-season free agent acquisition Julio Teheran struggled again on Saturday, failing to make it past the first inning for the second consecutive start while yielding three earned runs on two hits and two walks in just one inning of work.

Fantasy Impact:

The former Atlanta Braves top prospect's ERA climbed all the way to an unthinkable 10.05 with his latest disastrous performance on Saturday against the Dodgers. Teheran (0-4) has arguably been the worst starting pitcher in baseball in 2020, which is not exactly what the Halos had in mind when they inked him to a one-year, $9 million contract last winter. It seems unlikely that he would be back with the club in 2021.
