Tony Gonsolin (2-2) earned the start Saturday against the Angels, allowing four runs on seven hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out six.
Gonsolin was burned by a rough third inning, but was otherwise very effective on Saturday. The youngster finishes the regular season with a 2.31 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 46 strikeouts in 46.2 innings. The Dodgers like to experiment with pitching in the postseason, so Gonsolin could be used as both a starter and reliever in October.
