Shohei Ohtani caught stealing for first time

by Lucas Spence | Dodgers Correspondent | Mon, Sep 28th 12:30am EDT

Shohei Ohtani ended his disappointing season in a fitting way on Sunday, going 1-for-4 with a single and getting caught stealing for the first and only time this season.

Fantasy Impact:

2020 has been a nightmare season for Ohtani all around, who was ineffective as a pitcher before being shut down due to injury (37.80 ERA in just 1.2 innings) and then struggled mightily as a full-time hitter, batting just .190 with an awful .657 OPS. Ohtani added 23 R, 7 HR, 24 RBI, and 7 SB in 43 games as a hitter. 2021 will be a critical year for the dynamic two-way star as the Angels must decide on which path is the best way to utilize his supreme talents moving forward.
