Mets pitcher Seth Lugo allowed six earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out one over 1 1/3 innings in Sunday's loss to the Nationals. The loss drops him to 3-4 on the season.
Lugo had a strange season in 2020. He started out in the bullpen and temporarily took over as the team's closer before injuries caused him to be moved into the starting rotation. After some early success, Lugo struggled down the stretch and allowed six earned runs in two of his final three starts.
