Byron Buxton: Twins optimistic about him playing Tuesday

Twins manager Rocco Baldelli is "hopeful" OF Byron Buxton (concussion) will be ready for Tuesday's opener in the AL Wild Card round. (Aaron Gleeman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
"I had a chance to talk with Buck this morning," Baldelli said. "He feels better today than he did yesterday, which is a good sign. We're hoping that each day he makes progress and we're hoping that we can get him out there and play him on Tuesday." Buxton was hit in the head by a pitch last Friday and remained out of the lineup throughout the weekend. Jake Cave will continue to handle CF duties if Buxton is unable to go on Tuesday. The 26-year-old is day-to-day.
