Zack Greinke allows one run in Game 1 no-decision

by Mike Maher | Tue, Sep 29th 7:24pm EDT

Astros starter Zack Greinke allowed one earned run on two his and three walks while striking out one over four innings in a no-decision against the Twins on Tuesday. Houston went on to win Game 1 of the Wild Card Round 4-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Greinke only struck out one batter over four innings, but he also only allowed two hits and limited the damage through four innings before Framber Valdez took over and tossed five shutout innings to close things out. This was a good bounce-back performance for Greinke, who dropped three straight decisions to close out the season while also seeing his ERA increase from 2.91 to 4.03 over his final four starts.
