Jose Abreu smacks a two-run dinger in win over Oakland

by Jon Mathisen | Astros Correspondent | Tue, Sep 29th 7:29pm EDT

Jose Abreu went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a single in the White Sox 4-1 win over the A's in Game 1 of their Wild Card series.

Fantasy Impact:

Abreu took Jesus Luzardo deep in the top of the third inning with two outs and Tim Anderson aboard to put the White Sox up 3-0. The first baseman put together an MVP-type season this year in Chicago, slashing .317/.370/.617 with 19 home runs and a league-leading 60 RBI across 148 at-bats. It's great to see him continue that production in his very first playoff game.
