Reds starter Trevor Bauer tossed 7 2/3 scoreless innings on two hits and no walks while striking out 12 in a no-decision against the Atlanta Braves in Game 1 of the Wild Card Round Wednesday. The Braves went on to win the game 1-0 in extra innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Bauer was brilliant on Wednesday, but he was matched on the other side of Max Friend, who threw seven scoreless innings of his own. Bauer is among the favorites for the NL Cy Young award this season, and he showed why on Wednesday even if he didn't come away with the win.
