Jake Cronenworth went 1-for-2 with a triple and a run scored in the Padres 7-4 Game 1 loss to the Cardinals on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Cronenworth led off the bottom of the second inning with a triple, which was an inch away from going over the wall for a home run. He would score off an Austin Nola sacrifice fly later in the inning, though. The three-bagger was the rookie's only hit of the day. The 26-year old put up an impressive season in 2020 with a .285/.354/.477 slash line to go along with four home runs and 20 RBI.
