Paul DeJong went 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI, a run scored, and two walks in the Cardinals 7-4 Wild Card win over the Padres on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
DeJong had a day at the dish, reaching base in all four of his plate appearances. The shortstop limped to a .212/.302/.263 batting line in September so the multi-hit performance was a step in the right direction. The Cardinals will look to close out the series on Thursday when they face Zach Davies.
