Jordan Romano (finger) would have been activated for the American League Divisional Series, but needed a few days before he could pitch. (Hazel Mae on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Romano missed all of September due to a sprained finger. He would have been activated had the Blue Jays advanced. Romano (hand) said he needed “a couple of more days” before he could pitch in a game. Had the Blue Jays advanced to the ALDS “I would’ve been activated.” The 27-year-old had terrific 2020 campaign, posting a (2-1) record along with a 1.23 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 21 strikeouts over 14 2/3 innings. Romano is set to be one of the Blue Jays' top high-leverage options in 2021.
