"I hope like heck I see him at 6 a.m. in the morning coming into complex to get his work in. He's still got some baseball left in him. I would love to have him back. I don't know how much clearer I can make that," Cardinals manager Mike Shildt said. As St. Louis' backstop for the past 17 years, the 38 year-old has amassed nine All-Star appearances along with eight Gold Glove awards.
